A-squared Free was developed to enable you to scan your hard disk, remove all existent infections and restore your PC to maximum performance.
Scanning process finds and removes in a safe manner the following malicious software (Malware): Trojan Horses, Dialers, Worms, Spyware, and Adware. The interface is quite well organized, very eye catching and stylish. The main menu allows you to run scans, update program, choose languages and more. There is also a left-side toolbar that provides a quick access to many other options like: Security Status, Scan PC, Quarantine, Logs, and Configuration settings. You also have the possibility to choose among different scanning levels (Quick, Smart, Deep, and Custom), select folders to scan, activate explorer integration, send infected files to quarantine, re-scan quarantined objects after update and much more. This software also provides access to online updates for best protection. In addition, more settings are available, like configuration of heuristics, tracking-cookies, and spyware-remnant scans. By clicking with the right mouse button, you can select objects and send it to a “whitelist” or submit as false alert. A-squared Free is compatible with the following OS: Windows 95/98/98SE/Me/2000/NT/XP/2003/Vista and is distributed as freeware. |
